A Message From Our President
Dear members,
As the year concludes and the festive season is upon us it is a time to give our hearts and thoughts to those who have suffered great sadness in recent days.
Life will never be the same for them. To many of our members who have also suffered sadness and illness in recent years our loving thoughts are extended.
On behalf of the executive of the Society, I thank each and every one of you for your contribution to the Society and for making it the wonderful group of people that it is.
Our events have been successful because of the tremendous effort put in by many people with the lion size share taken on by some.
The holidays are an opportunity for us to set new goals for the New Year including painting and sculpture goals.
Looking forward to a fabulous year in 2026 with an abundance of love and kindness to one another.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Lindy Hyam
President
Our next meeting will be on Thursday 15th January 2026, 4pm at Lorn Park Bowling Club
2025 Christmas Party!
A very big THANK YOU to Aaron Sampson from Aaron Framed It for donating the Lucky door prizes (art frames) at our 2025 Christmas Party.

About Us

Winner of the 2024 MRSA Members Exhibition - 'Into the Greens' by Karen Malmgren
The society is a small but active group of like-minded people with an interest in various art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture etc. We are a mixture of all ages and characters.
We have been an active art society since 1998 and now have about one hundred members and hold 2 major exhibitions each year, usually in May and September.
We like to share our interest with the community, to promote our art works and sell them, if possible. We also meet socially for lunch, workshops, outings and painting weekends away.
Our Constitution is available for perusal here.
Our regular meeting is at 4.00 pm on the third Thursday of each month at the Lorn Park Bowling Club.
